The Senator representing Lagos East Senatorial district, Senator Mukhail Adetokunbo Abiru,FCA, has extended warm greetings to Muslim faithful across Lagos East Senatorial District, Nigeria and the global Muslim community on the celebration of Eid al-Fitr.
In his Eid-el-Fitr goodwill message issued on Thursday, the lawmaker congratulated Muslims on the successful completion of the holy month of Ramadan, describing the period as one of deep spiritual reflection, sacrifice and renewal.
Abiru expressed gratitude to Almighty Allah for granting the faithful the strength and patience to observe fasting, prayers and acts of charity, noting that Ramadan reinforces the enduring values of compassion, discipline, unity and generosity.

The senator urged Muslims to sustain the virtues imbibed during the fasting period by promoting peace, tolerance and mutual respect in their communities, stressing that such values are essential for building a harmonious and prosperous society.
He also called on Nigerians to use the occasion to pray for the nation and its leadership, particularly President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, asking for divine guidance, peace, stability and progress for the country.
Abiru further prayed that the Eid celebration would bring joy to homes, strengthen communal bonds and usher in renewed hope, prosperity and good health for all Nigerians. The lawmaker wished fellow Muslim faithful a peaceful and joyous Eid celebration.
